What you will learn
This year could be the start of further studies and where you find your direction.
Green Card : You will have the opportunity to take the “Green Card”, which is the certificate of competence from the Norwegian Equestrian Federation. With this certificate you can participate in competitions and it shows that you have good knowledge of horse keeping and safety.
Horse welfare in practice : You will learn how to take care of your horse through daily care, feeding, training and rest. The focus is on the horse's well-being.
How to have a good interaction with the horse : You will gain insight into communication, trust and cooperation between horse and rider. The goal is to understand how you influence the horse and that you can interpret the signals it gives you.
Rider training and competition riding : You will receive individual follow-up to develop your seat, balance and technique. We practice everything from basic riding to preparation for competitions.
Dressage, jumping and eventing : You will receive practical training in the classic disciplines of equestrian sport.
Lunging and timber driving : You will learn driving with a horse and working from the ground.
Equipment, hoof care and fittings : You will learn how equipment, saddles and hoof care affect the horse's comfort and performance, and learn how to take care of the equipment.
The teachers follow you closely and adapt the lessons to your level. By focusing on seat, balance and understanding how you affect the horse, you can develop good riding technique and a harmonious interaction with the horse. Because the better you master the technique, the better rider you will become for the horse.
