Backstage at Kingsland Oslo Horse Show

Stable guard and backstage access

As a student in the equestrian program, you get the chance to be backstage at KOHS. In recent years, students at Fjordane Folk High School have had the opportunity to work as a stable guard during the event which is held in the Telenor Arena at Fornebu in Oslo. You will have shifts of 4 hours, which involves working as a gatekeeper to the stables and keeping order in the stable area.

Watch and experience the entire event

As payment for the job, you get access to the entire event, free of charge. You get access to, among other things, the equestrian stands and you get the opportunity to see all the international horses and riders in the stables and on the track up close. It will be a week with many new experiences. The expenses for this trip are travel to and from the school, and accommodation. A meal in connection with your shift is also included.
