Line trip to Europe
Bli med på ein tur som både er snill mot miljøet og proppfull av opplevingar! Vi ønskjer å oppleve mangfaldet av sirkuskulturen som ein finn i Europa, og reiser derfor med tog innom fleire land og byar for å gje deg så mange gode sirkus- og kulturopplevingar som mogleg.
The school trip is included in the school fees. It is a fixed part of the program in the spring semester, and the destinations vary from year to year. In the 2024/2025 school year, the students got to experience Oslo, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, with visits to AFUK training, Arena Sirkus, Tivoli in Copenhagen and Fontys Academy for Circus and Performance Art in the Netherlands.
Varies from year to year
In previous years, the trip has taken them to Barcelona and Italy, where the students, among other things, saw Martin Riedel, one of the line teachers, perform at Cirque du Soleil in Barcelona, visited circus schools in Turin and saw a famous performance in Milan.
The trip varies from year to year, but we always plan a mix of line-related activities, social experiences, and plenty of free time.
A memorable trip
The purpose of the trip is primarily to gain professional inspiration and replenishment. We return home with new motivation and learning after meeting others with the same interest and a larger professional community within the world of modern circus. In addition to professional development, it is of course important that we have fun together. We have many great experiences as a team, like to see a circus show or two, and explore the culture and sights in the cities we visit.
