- Kitchen equipment would be nice to have if you want to cook at the pavilion. There is a small kitchen there, but you must bring your own equipment:
- Saucepan/frying pan (induction)
- Roasting spatula, ladle, whisk, etc.
- Plate, bowl, cup, glass, cutlery
- Bowl/bowl
- Cutting board...especially for students on the Viking Line, you can bring:
- Tools and sewing supplies, if you prefer to use your own (the school has what you normally need)
- Games like D&D, board games and card games that are important to you (the school also has many board games)
- Bladed weapons
- Viking sword
- Spears and axes with blades over 2 mm wide
- Gloves, suspenders, goggles and mouthguard
- Good thick hat or appropriate helmet
- Pick knives, simple multi-purpose knives and utility axes are okay.
- NOTE! Larger hunting knives MUST be left at home.
NOTE! You don't have to buy everything new before school starts. Feel free to see if you can borrow, buy used or shop at sales. It might be a good idea to check out horse equipment pages on Facebook or similar. There you can get some good second-hand bargains, which is good for both your wallet and the environment. You can also wait to buy some things until you get here to Nordfjordeid, such as detergent, toiletries and the like.
You can also pack seasonally. This means you don't have to bring everything when school starts, for example you can pick up winter gear when you're home during the fall break. It's important that all clothing and belongings are well-labeled.
Bring as few decorative items as possible that take up as little space as possible. Pictures and posters can be hung on the walls with putty.
